The primary objective of this project was to give skill of tailoring to the poor and widow women’s can change whole lives and that was provided to under the project by FMWO.


 Project Summary & Location



Tahsil Malir Consists on a lot of units /and UCS, Its population, Is above 4, 80,000. And above, there is many Govt.schools,and Hospital,There is also Electric city, cable system, and transport facilities, People live on Agriculture. There are many able and talented girls. Surrounding this taluka, where All girls are willing for sewing, cutting, andEmbroidery. By the type of this institution Many girls can learn Tailoring, sewing, cutting, and run the domestic life easily In this taulka there are no any vocational centres especially for girls,This is the better opportunity for girls.


A large number of women each month learn tailoring and how to run a small tailoring business from their homes. Women enter the 4-month course not knowing how to thread a needle; they leave with a livelihood. Poverty remains widespread in Pakistan’s struggling economy. Widows are especially vulnerable to unemployment and poverty. In order to help widows and other women who would like to learn a skill that they can use to support themselves and their children. These classes teach women to sew a wide variety of clothing from patterns.


Project Objectives:

In this our projects we hope the we will support, girls, to help the village girls,

To unskilled girls will be skilled in sewing, cutting, and embroidery to make girls able to run their Home easily.

The trainer will be teaching girls about, sewing, cutting, tailoring, and embroidery

In this vocational centre we can decrease the poverty.

This is the two month course for the girls; we hope the lot of girls will learn easily,



Farhan Organization is actively involved in these types’ vocational programmes since one year having successfully completed multiple projects in this regard by establishing linkages/ correspondence with Selfbehaf. Other than this Farhan Organization supports and encourages the trained women by providing opportunities.


Potential Long Term Impact

During the 4-month tailoring course, women learn to compute their budget for clothes and savings from making their own clothes. They learn to make a variety of clothes from patterns. Health, peace, and women''''''''s rights lessons are also taught. In this age of inflation and extensive price hiking, women learn to save money and they spent on clothes to purchase a sewing machine and start a small business. Course graduates sew their families'''''''' clothes, start a home-based business, and/or become sewing teachers.
